Chuck Cook & Associates is a small, privately owned corporation that has been in business for 16 years. We handle the meetings of corporations, government agencies, and associations throughout Florida, the Southeast, and the nation. We are involved with everything from small board meetings to citywide conventions of more than 10,000.

In addition, we produce a highly valued tradeshow & reception for hotels and suppliers each August with more than 200 meeting planners in attendance. The 2008 show will mark our 10th anniversary.

CHUCK COOK, Owner, has more than 40 years' experience in association management, television and newspapers. He is a skilled professional with a background as an award-winning investigative reporter, communications and meeting planning executive and association CEO. His skills include public relations, writing, magazine and newsletter production, marketing, media relations, meeting planning, and contract negotiations.

Prior to founding his own company, he was CEO of Florida School Administrators and had been their meeting planner for over 14 years. He is well versed in negotiations skills both in New Jersey and Florida, and serves as the contract facilitator for his clients.

BARBARA COOK, President, has over 30 years experience in tradeshow management, meeting planning, membership services, public relations, business administration, and secretarial service with legislators and private industry. She worked for nearly 20 years with a land-surveying and engineering company in Tallahassee.

She is the motivational force behind the annual tradeshow & reception, held each August at University Center Club, Florida State University Stadium.
